Jil Sander Man
Jil Sander has been known as one of the first major labels to popularize the minimalist aesthetic in the '90s. Sander launched her ready-to-wear woman's line in 1973 in Milan after five years of designing for her own boutique and being a fashion editor for German magazine Petra. In 1999, Prada Group acquired the label resulting in Sander leaving the company. In 2003, Prada asked her to return and a new collection of her signature pieces were reintroduced until she stepped down four seasons later. Lucie and Luke Meier debut their first collection at the helm of Jil Sander for Spring/Summer 2018. The designers bring a fresh, bold take on the streamlined yet sophisticated "cool" so strongly associated with the brand.
