The embroidery on this shirt was done by hand, using a technique called Ari, a chain stitch. Each panel is individually embroidered on a frame before the garment is stitched. The skilled artisans who embroider have usually learned the skill from the generation before.
Due to the hand-process, slubs and uneven weaving may occur and should be considered a unique characteristic. The more you wear this shirt, the softer and more comfortable it will get. This is a shirt to keep forever!
