Lost in Swiss Alpine pastures, at the heart of a small and peaceful village, stands the imposing and magnificent wooden structure of the Grand Chalet. It was here, in this unique landscape with its healing climate, that the painter Balthus made his home, enchanted by the fragrances of milk, honey, and hints of citrus from the ancient lime trees that surrounded his studio. Today, like a wonderful memory, his favorite perfume fills this place once again with Astier de Villatte's Grand Chalet Scented Candle.

This candle of natural ingredients contains no paraffin or other petrochemical by-products. Designed with Françoise Caron & the Takasago perfume team.

About the Designer
Founders Benoît Astier de Villatte and Ivan Pericoli have been making unique lifestyle pieces in Paris for fifteen years. Their signature ceramics, candles, and glassware are all handmade in an antique Bastille workshop that originally housed Napolean's silversmith. We offer STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE ONLY for approved returns.

Returns must be requested within 7 days of the delivery or in-store pick up date. Once the return is authorized with a return authorization (RA), all items must be received in store in 7 days from the issuance of an RA.
