The Incense in Palais de Tokyo by Astier de Villatte. Overlooking the river Seine, like a mysterious starship navigating the mysterious turbulence of artists’ imaginations, it dominates the view. A troubling fragrance floats between the raw cement walls of its wide, maze-like passageways, where a crowd of zealous and enlightened visitors feverishly gathers: intoxicating wisps of smoky wood, warm skin and metallic vibrations. In collaboration with the Palais de Tokyo.

About the Designer
Founders Benoît Astier de Villatte and Ivan Pericoli have been making unique lifestyle pieces in Paris for fifteen years. Their signature ceramics, candles, and glassware are all handmade in an antique Bastille workshop that originally housed Napolean's silversmith. Best known for their 18th- and 19th-century inspired black terra-cotta pottery, Astier de Villatte's team hand makes each piece in a traditional style that has been passed down through generations.  Explore Astier de Villatte

We offer STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE ONLY for approved returns.

Returns must be requested within 7 days of the delivery or in-store pick up date. Once the return is authorized with a return authorization (RA), all items must be received in store in 7 days from the issuance of an RA.
