We worship the tomato. Ripe, supple and bursting with juice, the scent of the heirloom tomato catapults us to memories of late summer dinner parties in Sicilian gardens. This candle, a monument to the love apple, is made from 100% vegetable wax and hand-poured into sturdy, recycled-glass containers. Light with a match and enjoy for a long time — our candles burn for over 60 hours.

About the Designer

In the early 1940s, a determined pair of young renegades arrived in California to realize their vision of an earthly paradise. High atop the hills of Los Angeles, hidden by a lush orchard and dense gardens, the flamingo-pink estate became a hedonistic enclave of sun-worship, folk mythologies, and psychedelic remedies — a secret haven for wild alchemy in the City of Angels.

Now Flamingo Estate is the home of Richard Christiansen, and, in the spirit of its origins, a radical celebration of pleasure from the garden. They carefully cultivate Mother Nature’s wildest, most precious gifts, at a time when we need them most.

We offer STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE ONLY for approved returns.

Returns must be requested within 7 days of the delivery or in-store pick up date. Once the return is authorized with a return authorization (RA), all items must be received in store in 7 days from the issuance of an RA.
