Made by a single tailor from beginning to end, Kardo's oversized Gond Painting Ronen Shirt features a form of painting done by one of the largest tribal communities in India, the Gond, who use a technique based on line and dot forms. These pieces have been painted by Mahesh Shyam, a 28-year-old Gond artist from Bhopal. His paintings depict tales from the forest and the nomadic life of the tribe inspired by the stories he heard from his grandparents, who lived in the forest.
Slight imperfections should be considered an intended quality of the hand-made fabric and painting. Embrace the unique character of each piece.
