The Foundation Pant in Desert Wash Black is an authentic carpenter pant in both form and fabrication, re-worked to achieve a more modern fit, with an eco-friendly desert-washed fabric that will evolve over time. Crafted from an 8.5oz 100% cotton twill, traditional carpenter details have been minimized while keeping the signature workwear essence intact through durable bar-tacking reinforcement, flat-felled seams, and additional utility pockets. 
About Desert Wash: This new dyeing technique is the most eco-friendly process after organic dyeing. It utilizes a sulfur dye that requires less chemicals, less time, and less water in the dyeing process. The result is similar to a pigment or natural dye that fades with exposure to the sun while being gentler to our precious environment. 
 
Caution: Due to the nature of this dye process, the color may stain other textiles during general wear and washing. Hand washing or machine washing with similar colors is highly recommended, as is hanging in a closed closet away from sunlight to prevent uneven, sun-faded crease lines.
